Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and our High Voltage Laboratory, you’ll gain broad exposure across the full product lifecycle while contributing to products that power critical infrastructure. What you’ll be doing Supporting electrical transformer design activities Assisting with engineering documentation and design reviews Providing technical support to manufacturing teams Supporting product testing, compliance, and engineering standards Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Collaborating across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams What you’ll bring Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail A collaborative and proactive approach Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement Experience we’d love to see Exposure to electrical engineering through university projects, internships, or work experience An interest in manufacturing, power systems, or industrial engineering Experience working with technical drawings, data, or engineering softwareA willingness to learn and develop specialist engineering skills Why ETEL At ETEL, you’ll develop specialist engineering capability, gain exposure to complex manufacturing environments, and work on products that support essential infrastructure across New Zealand and beyond.
