We have an opportunity for a People & Culture Advisor to join the Fletcher Construction team supporting the Eastern Busway Alliance. With project completion scheduled for 2027, this role provides strong exposure to end to end HR activity on a major infrastructure project in Auckland. This is a fixed term role through to May 2027, based full time at the Eastern Busway Alliance project office in Pakuranga. What you’ll be doing Partner with Alliance leaders to support day to day people management, including performance, development and absence management, working closely with home companies. Support the People & Culture Manager with end to end resourcing coordination, including recruitment approvals, position descriptions and engagement with home companies. Coordinate effective onboarding and offboarding of Alliance staff, maintaining workforce plans and organisational charts. Manage and maintain the Alliance HRIS (Employment Hero), ensuring accurate data capture, reporting and information sharing. Provide timely advice and support to leaders and employees on People & Culture matters. Deliver administration and coordination support across a broad range of generalist People & Culture activities. About you Experience as an HR Coordinator or Advisor across core HR activities (e.g. HRIS, recruitment, onboarding, performance management); construction or engineering experience preferred. Tertiary qualification in HR (or related field), or equivalent practical experience. Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, employment legislation and ER fundamentals. Proven ability to build effective relationships across all levels, including senior leaders. Confident analysing HR data and using insights to support business decisions. Well organised, detail focused, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
