Job Description

Your Role Set up and maintain product demonstration stations in-store or at events, ensuring cleanliness, visibility, and brand compliance. Offer samples (food/beverage where applicable) and facilitate product trials while following hygiene and safety standards at supermarkets, malls, restaurants, trade shows, and events, e.g. cooking instant noodles, pre‑cooked meals at home or stir‑frying food, etc. Explain product features, benefits, and unique selling points in a clear, engaging, and persuasive manner. Actively engage customers, encourage purchases, answer questions, and provide accurate product information and special offers. Collect customer feedback, inquiries, or leads and report them to the sales or marketing team. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand’s values at all times. Ensure compliance with in‑store or event regulations, including health, safety, and food handling protocols. Monitor stock levels at the demo site and request replenishment as necessary. Ensure promotional items, samples, and brochures are well‑stocked during events. Record demo performance, including sales achieved, samples distributed, and customer engagement data. Transport, assemble and disassemble materials used when required. Briefing session (online or face‑to‑face) is required for any brands and products onboard. Adhere to all food safety standards and requirements. About You Must hold or be willing to obtain a Basic Food Safety & Hygiene (or Food Handler) certificate. MUST HAVE a current New Zealand driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Excellent communication skills in English, in addition to Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a must. Previous experience in promotions, retail, or customer service preferred, but not essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain and present products clearly and persuasively. Outgoing, confident, and customer‑focused personality. Basic knowledge of product category (food, lifestyle, electronics, etc.) — training provided. Ability to work independently, manage time, and handle customer queries. Basic reporting and data recording skills through Google Form. Working Conditions May be required to stand for long periods and work in high‑traffic retail environments. Working hours may include weekends, public holidays, and promotional campaign dates. Travel between store locations may be required.
