About the Role As a Psychiatric Registrar at Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals, you will be part of a dynamic team providing psychiatric care to the region's population. You will rotate through Tauranga Hospital, with a 13‑week period at Whakatāne Hospital. The training program is accredited by the RANZCP and offers exposure to a wide range of psychiatric specialties. Qualifications and Experience Hold an MBChB or equivalent medical qualification. Full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). Strong passion for psychiatry and a commitment to enhancing the mental well‑being of the community. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Previous psychiatric experience is preferred but not essential; diverse levels of experience are welcomed. Dedication to pursuing RANZCP‑accredited training.
