Located in Palmerston North, we service the Manawatu, Tararua, Horowhenua and Rangitikei/Taihape regions. Our name, Arohanui — “with much love” — is at the centre of everything we do. While our care is provided free of charge, it costs millions each year to deliver. Our Hospice Shops play a vital role in raising the funds that make this care possible. We are seeking a dynamic Levin Shop Manager to lead our Levin store — a high‑profile role supported by a talented team of staff and passionate volunteers who give their time to support our mission. What you’ll be responsible for Driving the strategic direction and day‑to‑day performance of the Levin store Meeting budgets, engaging with sales targets, and identifying growth opportunities Creating a positive, connected, and motivated team culture Building strong relationships with customers, donors, volunteers and local partners Coaching, developing and empowering employees and volunteers What you’ll bring Proven retail leadership and people management experience Strong commercial and operational skills Confidence with MS Office, POS systems, and cash handling High levels of initiative — you’re a planner, a problem‑solver, and an innovator A collaborative approach, working closely with other Hospice Shops and the wider community This is a full-time position, 40 hours across 5 days per week.
