Your role as a 2IC, will supervise our team daily to ensure our customers are looked after and understand that every time they walk in, call, or email our branch that their query is important to us, and we will do our utmost to take care of them. You will also play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the branch, ensuring smooth processes, building strong customer relationships and a positive team culture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership experience in electrical wholesale, trade supplies, or a related industry who is ready to take the next step in their career. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to): Assisting with the effective recruitment and selection of employees along with management of individual and team performance. Developing and maintaining strong rapport with key customers. Identifying opportunities to generate sales by offering top-level service, (e.g. providing accurate and timely solutions, dealing with quotes and complaints, supporting promotions). Developing customer loyalty through building relationships and anticipating future needs of branch customers. Being solely responsible for understanding branch stock requirements and ensuring replenishment of inventory to ensure stock is available to customers. Supporting the Branch Manager to ensure that the branch maintains high standards of service. Debt management (returns for credits, outstanding monies, etc.). Be available to support branch with other aspects as and when needed (e.g. deliveries). What we’re looking for: Previous experience in electrical wholesale, trade supplies or a related industry. Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A positive attitude and willingness to lead from the front. Proven organisational and problem‑solving skills. The hours of work for your role are Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.00pm.
