Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.7, Start Date: 03/08/2026, End Date: 09/04/2027 (Parental Leave Cover) Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Social sciences Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher for our social sciences department to cover parental leave from 3 August 2026, or as soon as possible after that date. The position involves teaching up to four classes (up to 0.7 FTTE). Key Responsibilities Teach up to four classes in secondary (Years 7–15) and support the social sciences curriculum. Work within a co-educational environment at Whanganui High School, a large well‑resourced school with extensive teaching subjects. Qualifications / Requirements Full New Zealand teacher registration.
