Job Description

The Role As a Fire Alarm Technician at Chubb, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Fire Alarm Systems in new and existing commercial and industrial premises. This full‑time, permanent position requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our clients. Your role is to service and maintain life safety systems in line with NZ Standards and the Building Act to ensure the equipment works in accordance with the NZ standard. The position is full time and permanent – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. To Be Successful In This Position, You Will Have Minimum 2 years' experience as a fire alarm technician or in a similar role Legally able to work in New Zealand Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills NZQA Level 4 Fire Qualification would be advantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prepare written reports with clear, detailed information A clean, full NZ driver licence and the legal right to live and work in New Zealand Clear criminal history record Abide by Health and Safety rules and regulations While working independently, you will have the support of a great team with opportunities to build your skills and experience.
