Bunge is looking for an Assistant Site Supervisor to join our team in Mt Maunganui. About the role As an Assistant Site Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Mt Maunganui site. Working closely with the Site Supervisor, you’ll help ensure the site runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This includes coordinating staff, overseeing inventory and equipment, supporting health and safety, and maintaining compliance with internal processes and external regulations. This hands‑on role is perfect for someone who enjoys a balance of planning, people leadership, and operational support. You’ll bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a can‑do attitude to help drive site performance and team success. You’ll also contribute to a positive workplace culture, promoting safety, quality, and collaboration while ensuring high standards are met across all site activities. Duties Assist with the daily planning and coordination of site operations Support and lead Tool‑Box Talks, safety meetings, and daily briefings Maintain high standards of site cleanliness, equipment condition, and safety practices Ensure staff are scheduled and trained appropriately to meet operational needs Monitor inventory records in SIMS and assist with physical stock counts Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, and process transfer orders as required Support feed and food safety compliance and reporting Assist with internal and external customer service requests Contribute to site compliance, reporting, and administration tasks Foster a zero‑harm culture and strong customer service mindset About you Strong team focus and a proactive approach to leadership Experience coordinating operational teams or tasks Good working knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Office Comfortable conducting stock checks and handling admin or reporting duties Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines Demonstrated understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements Benefits Years of service recognition Primary and secondary carer paid parental leave Employee assistance programme – access to confidential and free support #J-18808-Ljbffr
