Electrical Estimator Tradestaff Wellington is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a busy team on an initial six-week contract, with the potential for ongoing work. This is an office-based role where you'll use your electrical knowledge to review, price, and approve maintenance jobs, ensuring quotes are accurate and ready for dispatch. Location: Wellington Start date: 20 July 2026 Pay rate: $45–$60/hr depending on experience, paid weekly What You'll Be Doing Review electrical maintenance quotes for pricing and scope accuracy Check labour, materials, and call-out costs align with current market rates Adjust pricing where required to ensure accurate and competitive quotes Contact tenants to clarify job details and confirm the scope of work Approve completed quotes so work can be scheduled without delays Identify compliance issues or work outside the original job scope Maintain accurate records while working in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of NZ electrical labour, materials, and pricing Experience estimating or pricing electrical maintenance work Electrical QS, estimating, or qualified trade background preferred Good understanding of NZ electrical compliance requirements Confident making accurate pricing decisions independently Strong computer skills with excellent attention to detail Professional phone manner and clear communication skills Valid New Zealand working rights What's In It For You Earn $45–$60/hr with weekly pay, based on your skills and experience Six-week contract with genuine potential to extend into ongoing work Office-based role with no site visits or physically demanding work Join a supportive team with established systems and clear workflows Apply your electrical expertise in a fast-paced estimating environment Immediate start with a respected employer and meaningful project work A pre-employment drug and alcohol test, along with standard background checks, will be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
