Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 20/07/2026, End Date: 25/09/2026 (Long Leave) Area / composite (Years 1–15), Certificated teacher Technology Hamilton Christian School, a state‑integrated co‑educational Christian school, seeks a passionate and skilled hard materials teacher to join our teaching team in our junior secondary and secondary schools for the fixed‑term vacancy for term 3 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and have the ability to inspire and guide students in practical and creative projects. Key responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons in hard materials technology. Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage students' creativity and problem‑solving abilities. Assess and report on students' progress. Maintain and manage classroom tools and materials. Uphold and promote the Christian values of our school community. Qualifications and experience A relevant teaching qualification and current NZ Teacher registration. Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and the NZQA framework. Experience in teaching hard materials technology. Strong practical skills in woodworking and design.
