Health Care Assistant – Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital Permanent, Part‑time, 56 hours per fortnight (0.7FTE) About the Role As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide clinical, technical, and clerical support to the peri‑operative team, helping to ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will assist with patient care activities, support clinical workflows, and help maintain a well‑organised environment. This is a varied and hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You will assist with patient comfort and care, support the management of equipment and supplies, and undertake administrative tasks that enable the wider team to deliver high‑quality peri‑operative services. About the Team / Service / Location Our peri‑operative department at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital provides specialist surgical services in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.
