Operations Assistant

Tamatea PAK'nSAVE Grocery department currently have positions available in the evenings. The aim of the game is to get the majority of the shelves filled before the store opens at 7am, and to continue to stock high-volume areas throughout the day. You will work as part of a wider team across all areas of Grocery which also include chilled & frozen foods and liquor. ABOUT THE ROLE Working in the Grocery department, you will be responsible for ensuring the flow of stock from the storeroom to our store’s shelves. We receive a daily delivery in the late afternoon and are looking to get all of that stock directly onto the shelves when the truck arrives. The role is hands‑on with physical demands, which include unloading pallets, moving stock from the storeroom, bulk chillers & freezers to the shop floor, stocking shelves, using ladder trolleys and pallet jacks with regular heavy lifting and bending involved. SHIFT SCHEDULE We have two full‑time roles available: Nightfill – 39.5 hours, Day Shift – 38 hours. Please highlight in your cover letter which role you are applying for.
