About the Role A typical day for a Casual Registered Nurse involves providing compassionate patient care across various healthcare settings. You will assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, collaborate with medical teams, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Flexibility is key as you may work across different shifts and departments, adapting to varying patient needs. Your role includes documenting medical information, assisting with procedures, and offering emotional support to patients and families. About you / Development Opportunities The Bureau offers you the opportunity to enhance your skills by working across multiple services, a range of wards and utilizing your healthcare experience. You will be exposed to new clinical environments, supported by an orientation package, and have ongoing education support. Skills & Experience Minimum 24 months experience in a hospital environment Completed a CAP or NETP program Have a current work visa or the legal right to work in New Zealand All nurses must be registered with the NewZealand Nursing Council and maintain a current Annual Practising Certificate Salary As per NZNO MECA Step2–7, based on skills and experience – pro rata.
