Trolley Assistant

We're looking for a full-time Trolley Assistant to join our team here at Clendon PAK'nSAVE. This is a physically demanding role, so you'll need to be fit, motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will take pride in your work, have a strong customer focus, and be able to work independently while remaining aware of your surroundings. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work safely at all times is essential. Flexibility is also important, as the needs of the department can vary throughout the day. The Role As a Trolley Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting shopping trolleys from the car park and ensuring trolley bays remain well stocked. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment by keeping the car park, store entrance, and surrounding areas free from rubbish. You will also ensure trolleys are clean and presentable for customers and assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when required. From time to time, you may also be asked to assist in other areas of the store, including Grocery and Checkouts. The Requirements Physically fit and able to lift up to 20 kg and safely push multiple trolleys. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. A positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Good written and spoken English.
