Job Description
About the role One 12-month fixed term position available, Wellington based. Rewarding, fast-paced mahi in a supportive team. Opportunity to grow your career in a busy role. Responsibilities Processing periodic safety checks, contingent worker checks and high-volume work to support the wider team. Liaising with internal kaimahi (employees) on requirements to complete periodic safety checks. Tracking, recording and updating internal systems. Daily use of MS Forms, Excel and SAP HRIS systems. Responding to and triaging recruitment and safety checking enquiries, arranging various pre-employment checks. Working with the Recruitment team to ensure candidates are suitably vetted and reference checked for frontline positions. Managing several shared inboxes and completing a range of tasks. Booking candidates for interview as required. Key requirements Experience with pre‑employment vetting checks such as MOJ and police vetting (advantage). Experience in a similar position desirable; full training provided. Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high accuracy and quality. Strong problem‑solving skills and strong customer focus. Proven organisational skills, self‑motivated, ability to multi‑task. Understanding of recruitment processes, privacy and candidate care. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. Intermediate Excel experience including formulas would be an advantage but not essential. What you will bring Sound experience, ability to prioritise and operate at pace, manage a variety of high‑volume tasks. The role suits someone who enjoys working at pace and accurately handling data. Must be able to navigate cloud‑based storage and Microsoft software to a high degree, display sound written communication skills and provide a high level of customer service.
