Assistant Stud Supervisor - Karaka

We are looking for a full-time/live-in Assistant Stud Supervisor to join Cambridge Stud at our Karaka Farm. Description Duties include, but are not limited to: Handling foals, yearlings and racehorses Feeding, rugging, mucking out and general horse husbandry Monitoring horse health and assisting with vet treatments Maintaining accurate records Supervising staff when required Be available for after-hours trucks arriving Hours: Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm, and every second weekend. About you At least 3 years’ experience working on a stud or in a similar equine role Confident handling a range of horses, including foals, yearlings and racehorses Confident in administering medication and bandaging Knowledge of broodmare breeding cycles and care Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team Good communication and organisational skills Be able to live on site Must have New Zealand residency or a current work visa What we offer Accommodation on site Opportunity to work with some of the best bloodstock in New Zealand #J-18808-Ljbffr
