Job Description OceanaGold is seeking an All‑Rounder Operator for our Underground Macraes team in Otago, New Zealand. The role requires prior underground mining experience and involves operating a variety of underground heavy machinery to support the Underground Production Team. The position is residential with a 7 on/7 off roster and offers real work‑life balance. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Operate competently as Development Charge, Production Charge & Remote Loader. Operate under supervision as Production Drill, Cable Bolter, Jumbo Drill & Spraymec Unit. Communicate early with trucking and bogging fleet to minimise remoting delays. Seek productivity and safety improvements in stope bogging and fibre maximisation. Transport ore material from stopes to ore passes and stockpiles via tele‑remote. Load out development headings, perform clean‑ups and transport material to stockpiles and trucks. Maintain accurate reporting and record‑keeping; collate daily information and complete all machinery documentation. Report damage immediately and minimise it. Experience Minimum of 5 years underground metalliferous mining experience in development and production techniques. Excellent safety record. Mentoring, coaching and training experience is an advantage. Competence in Jumbo Drill, Production Drill, Cable Bolter & Spraymec Unit is an advantage. Qualifications Eligible to work in New Zealand. Full and current driver’s licence, and competent to drive manual vehicles. Competent across Development Charge, Production Charge and Remote Loader operator requirements. Service Crew Ticket preferred. Water Down, Scaling Ticket preferred. Current Certified / Approved Handlers Certificate preferred. Controlled Substance Licence preferred. First Aid Certificate.
