We’re actively hiring analysts with strong analysis skills, to work in our counter‑terrorism and transnational serious organised crime missions. You’ll transform Signals Intelligence into actionable reporting that safeguards New Zealand’s future. You will need to be able to start your career with us in Wellington, but there may be the opportunity for relocation to Auckland in future years. About you Strong research and analytical skills – can you join the dots between multiple different sources to produce a comprehensive narrative? Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills – can you work well with others and write clear, concise reports? Strong technical skills – do you understand how electronic communications work and how adversaries use them? Good general knowledge of, and an interest in, the organised crime and terrorism environment. Ability in a foreign language is a valuable, but not essential, skill for this role. Salary and levels Level1: NZ$63,497–NZ$67,730 (entry‑level) Level2: NZ$87,048–NZ$92,851 Level3: NZ$103,009–NZ$109,876 Eligibility Have been a New Zealand citizen for at least 10 years, OR hold a current NZ residency class visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
