Medical Management Unit Administrator - Permanent, Full Time (Monday to Friday) – Based in Rotorua Hospital We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented MMU Administrator to join our Medical Management Unit (MMU) at Health New Zealand Lakes. About the Role Plays a key role in supporting the medical workforce across Rotorua and Taupo Hospitals. Reporting to the RMO Unit Manager, the Administrator supports the RMO Unit with the administration of recruitment, rostering, deployment and support of the RMO workforce. The role includes managing expense claims, monthly reports, assisting with run reviews, and other administrative duties. The administrator will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with a strong and supportive team. About the Team, Service, and Location You'll be joining a highly skilled, collaborative, and passionate team within the RMO Unit. Based at Lakes, Rotorua Hospital, the service plays a central role in ensuring that RMOs are supported to deliver exceptional patient care while progressing through their clinical training. About You Our ideal candidate will bring at least three years’ experience providing high‑level administration and support in complex business environments. Demonstrated ability to manage critical tasks across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities. Thrives under pressure, manages tight deadlines with calm efficiency and a solutions‑focused approach. Detail‑oriented, confident with large datasets, and transforms information into meaningful reporting metrics for decision‑making. Spot trends, ensure accuracy, and stay organised. Trusted with handling highly confidential, private, and occasionally distressing information with discretion and sensitivity. Strong sense of integrity and professionalism. Background in healthcare or experience with an RMO workforce will be highly advantageous. Understanding of legal frameworks and contracts to ensure compliance.
