Job Description

The Field Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing daily agricultural operations at Puro’s Kekerengu site. This position ensures efficient field activity management, adherence to best‑practice cultivation standards, and consistent delivery of safe, high‑quality outcomes. The role supports crop health, team coordination, and operational excellence across all outdoor cultivation activities. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily field operations and ensure compliance with agricultural best practices. Coordinate and support field workers, providing clear guidance and leadership. Monitor crop health, growth, and environmental conditions; implement interventions to optimise yield. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure safe and effective operation. Maintain accurate records of planting, harvesting, maintenance, and field activities. Assist with staff training in agricultural techniques, safety protocols, and operational standards. Collaborate with management to improve productivity, sustainability, and workflow efficiency. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations across all field operations. Qualifications & Experience Qualification in agriculture, horticulture, or related field (preferred). Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in agriculture or horticulture. Strong understanding of crop management and agricultural systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Proficient with agricultural machinery and technology. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
