Occupational Therapist – Child Youth and Family Mental Health Service / Occupational Therapist/Case Manager (1.00 FTE) – Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) Team, Based in North Shore The Early Psychosis Intervention Team (EPI) is a youth‑focused, assertive outreach, community mental health team. We work intensively with young people and their families to provide age‑appropriate interventions from the acute phase of psychosis through to recovery. About the Role We are seeking an occupational therapist with experience in mental health who will join a dedicated multidisciplinary team working with young people recovering from psychosis. You will provide OT assessments and interventions to a limited number of service users and may participate in therapeutic group work. Skills in crisis intervention and recovery planning are essential. Requirements Professional Registration in New Zealand Full NewZealand Driver's Licence A desire to work with children, youth and their families who have complex mental health issues Preferred: Skills in crisis intervention and recovery planning Preferred: Experience in using various media and tools to engage and sustain treatment with children, young people and their families Preferred: A postgraduate qualification in child and youth mental health and/or recognised training in an evidence‑based intervention for child and youth mental health presentations Contact For further discussion about this opportunity, please contact Sheridan Lauchlan on 094890555.
