Job Description
Ready to drive strategic partnerships and growth for a market leader? As part of the ANZ Commercial & Finance Team, you will play a key role in delivering financial and operational analysis for the ANZ Sales entities. Through insightful reporting and strategic recommendations, you will help identify opportunities for business improvement and contribute to the Detmold Group’s long‑term sales growth and profitability objectives. What you’ll do: Partner with the Sales team and lead the commercial preparation, analysis, and presentation of customer tenders Ensure compliance with all Government and Industry legislative requirements Oversee and ensure the completion of all critical financial tasks, including month and year end processes, General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations, and the production of Profit & Loss statements, assisting where required. Highlight low margin categories and lines to management and make recommendations based on known / researched market intelligence. Manage customer rebates and ensure that there are written agreements authorised by both parties. Customer Profitability Reporting, evaluating the output and highlighting performance against business targets and identifying cost improvement opportunities. Review and manage the costs to serve of the NZ entities highlighting deviations to budget and opportunities to reduce costs and deliver an improved, cost‑effective alternatives. Generate monthly Cashflow statements and forecasting with a focus on maintaining creditors and loan commitments within agreed terms. What you’ll bring: Well‑developed Commercial Acumen complimented with a strong negotiating and influencing skill set. Degree Qualifications in Business/Finance/Accounting. Sound knowledge and experience using MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Problem‑solving ability and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong time management and organisational skills, with an ability to plan and schedule priorities and manage strict deadlines. Resilient with a willingness to take initiative and a continuous improvement mindset. Desirable: Professional Qualification (CA/CPA).
