About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Alcohol & Other Drug Clinician, with a minimum of 2 years experience, to work alongside our highly skilled multi‑disciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive alcohol and other drug assessments. Develop collaborative recovery plans utilizing therapeutic models that support work with tangata whaiora. Provide relapse prevention and counselling skills, and engage in group work. Work with complex cases that often include mental and/or physical health co‑morbidities. About the Team Community Alcohol and Drug Service (CADS) provides support and services for adults and whanau with complex alcohol and other drug concerns, often alongside mental and/or physical health co‑morbidities. We are a team that values professional development and believes that tangata whaiora deserve care from clinicians who are both skilled and compassionate. Our team works collaboratively with our Te Whatu Ora, Waikato colleagues and across the Rohe to achieve positive outcomes for our tāngata whaiora, while continuing to grow and develop our own practice. About you We are seeking a Dapaanz registered Alcohol & Other Drug Clinician who is a self‑motivated team player, able to meet deadlines, seek support when needed, and work both independently and as part of a team.
