Grocery Assistant Four Square is an iconic Kiwi brand, providing for customers since 1924! With more than 230 stores across the country, we keep our customers stocked up with a range of groceries, locally sourced products, fresh produce, meat, chilled beer, wines, and a friendly smile. Four Square Arrowtown is looking for a confident person with an eye for detail and retail experience (ideally in the same industry) to join our busy team as a Grocery Assistant. What We Are Looking For You must be customer driven Take pride in presentation Display an ability to be self‑motivated Use initiative Be physically fit and capable as this is an active role Thrive in a fast‑paced environment – this is crucial as we are a small busy team Experience Required Be a strong relationship builder and communicator and effective team player. A passion for excellent customer service and taking care of our community is essential. Someone who likes to be busy, takes pride in their work and thrives under pressure, with a flexible can‑do attitude. This role also involves basic food prep, so we need someone who feels comfortable do this. The successful applicant must also have previous experience supervising or a natural ability to lead, as we will need them to work towards this and gain their LCQ certificate, which we will facilitate. Hours As we are a 7‑day a week business, weekend work will be required. This is ideally a long‑term role. Eligibility We are not an Accredited Employer so applicants must have the current right to work in NZ.
