Walking School Bus 'Driver'

Location: Blenheim Organisation: Mayfield School Category: Youth & Children Hours: Working Hours We are looking for volunteers that enjoy working with youth and walking. We are wanting to start a walking school bus to get tamariki within our catchment to and from school each day. We are working with Council and NZTA to create the best route for our tamariki to get to and from school safely while having fun. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, then we would love to hear from you. Requirements Physically fit to walk 1.5 kms twice a day. Calm nature and enjoy working with children from age 5 to 10. A Police background check is required for this role. Time commitment Approx. 40 minutes in the morning between 7:50 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Approx. 40 minutes in the afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. Getting started The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
