Casual Cleaner – Rhoda Read Continuing Care – Morrinsville Job no: 540468 Work type: Casual Location: Waikato Categories: Cleaning Our growing ISS Facility Services team is calling for all cleaning experts to join our fantastic organization! Are you looking for a role with training and development opportunities? Perhaps you are an experienced cleaning specialist in areas like hospitals, health care centres and clinics? Then you are someone we are looking for! Responsibilities Cleaning within hospital ward environments, bathrooms, kitchens, offices, meeting rooms and clinics. Cleaning of internal public areas, lifts and stairwells. Replenishing consumables in patient, staff and public toilets and bath/shower areas. Linen and waste disposal, equipment handling. Collection/delivery of patient notes with full confidentiality. De- escalation and ensuring the safety of healthcare workers, visitors and patients. Transport of deceased persons. Self‑motivation and integrity to work autonomously. Good time management to complete tasks to a high standard. Delivery of excellent customer services and positive communication to all customers. Undergo Hepatitis B screening. Team work with individual competence and maturity. Ability to work weekends and some split shifts. Opportunities Complete on‑the‑job training available, with regular feedback. Potential to lead to a permanent position. Fantastic work culture and team environment. Qualifications Some experience in cleaning roles is an advantage; full training will be provided. National Police clearance within 12 months of issue. Self‑motivated and able to demonstrate initiative on the job. Professional presentation and customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physically fit and energetic. Reliable and self‑motivated. New Zealand work rights are essential for the role. Valid driver’s licence with access to personal transport preferred.
