SEO Manager Organic & AI Search (Auckland Part-Time) Pearson Carter are working with a specialist Auckland digital marketing agency focused on SEO, AI search (AIO), content, and analytics to drive organic growth for NZ service-based businesses. They operate a senior, strategy-led model where impact and ownership sit directly with the team. They are hiring a Part-Time SEO Manager to own SEO and AI search strategy across a portfolio of clients, shaping 12-month roadmaps and 90-day execution plans while leading delivery and hands-on technical SEO work. This is a senior, high-ownership role where you’ll act as the SEO lead across multiple accounts, working closely with internal teams and clients to drive measurable organic growth across both traditional search and AI-driven discovery. Responsibilities Own SEO and AIO strategy across a portfolio of client accounts Lead 12-month SEO roadmaps and 90-day delivery plans Manage client relationships as the SEO subject matter expert Oversee and execute technical SEO improvements Drive content strategy and AI search optimisation (AIO) Analyse performance using GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools Guide and quality-check work delivered by SEO consultants Experience 6 years hands-on SEO experience Strong technical SEO and content SEO capability Experience with GA4, Search Console, schema, and reporting Understanding of AI search / Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO/AIO) Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently across multiple accounts Location Auckland, New Zealand (Part-Time – 20 hours/week) Applications are welcome from experienced SEO professionals who want ownership, autonomy, and strategic impact in a senior role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
