Job Title TEACHING ASSISTANT – KAWAKAWA BAY KINDERGARTEN Job Code: TAKAWAB529 Position Overview This is a Part Time Position – 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.30am – 3:00 pm, with a half hour lunch break. This position includes working during school term breaks. Located just a 5-minute walk from Kawakawa Bay Beach, the kindergarten offers a unique opportunity for tamariki aged two to five years to play, thrive and learn with a small group of 20 peers in a well‑resourced and fun‑filled environment. We are seeking a self‑motivated, enthusiastic, team player who loves to care for and support young children with their learning and who believes that children learn best through play. The successful applicant needs to be reliable, adaptable, have a positive attitude, be able to work independently and to communicate effectively. This is a busy high energy position. Experience would be an advantage but not essential. All applicants must reside in New Zealand and be eligible to work in New Zealand. Applicants will undergo a full Safety Check process.
