Join our amazing team at CHT Amberlea in beautiful Algies Bay as a weekend Activities Coordinator ! We're looking for a fun, energetic, and qualified person to bring joy, creativity, and meaningful activities to our residents for 4 hours each on Saturday and Sunday . What you will be doing: Contributes to the assessment process of each resident under the guidance of the Carehome Manager reflecting the individual resident’s functional level, problems, needs and interests. Plans, schedules, implements and evaluates a programme of individual and/or group activities based on the residents' needs. Coordinates and participates in resident activities designed to promote social interaction, reality orientation and intellectual stimulation. Documents activity‑related information in the resident’s notes. Assists with escorting residents to and from activities. Maintains sufficient activity supplies. Develop monthly calendar of planned activities. Contributes to the development of the continuous quality improvement plan for the Activity Programme. Consistently act as a role model for safe work practices. Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported in accordance with CHT policies and procedures. Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, relevant legislation and regulations and CHT’s policies and procedures. Attend and actively participate in team health and safety meetings.
