Registered Nurse - Tamariki Ora | Well Child

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Te Rito e Tupu Ana (Well Child) Team. As part of this team, you will support the health and wellbeing of pēpi and tamariki from birth to 5‑years. Working in whānau homes and in our Whānau Health Centres, Te Rito e Tupu Ana provide services including health assessments, development and growth monitoring and education for whānau and caregivers, food and nutrition advice, oral health education and vaccinations. As part of a kaupapa Māori health service, Te Rito e Tupu Ana Nurses are responsible for providing culturally appropriate and whānau‑centered care with the ability to coordinate with health and social services to reduce health inequities for whānau. To be successful in this role you will need: Registered Nurse with a current APC. Proven experience in child health, community nursing or Well Child services. Strong clinical reasoning and decision‑making skills, with a focus on evidence‑based practice. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently as required. Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with diverse communities. Have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how it can be shown in practice. Proficiency in the use of digital health technologies and clinical information systems.
