Te Puna Wai Youth Justice Residence - Burnham, Christchurch Permanent, Full-Time About the role As a Residential Administrator, you'll be a key part of our multidisciplinary team, providing a wide range of administrative services that keep our residence running smoothly. No two days are the same — from reception duties to payroll support, your work will help create a safe, supportive environment for rangatahi. Experience in administration or customer service Confident using Microsoft Office Suite Great communication skills — written and verbal Strong relationship-building abilities Excellent time management and planning skills A collaborative team player with initiative and a sense of humour Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to change A clean, current full driver's licence About the Residence Te Puna Wai is one of five Youth Justice residences across Aotearoa, operating 24/7 to support rangatahi aged 13-19 who have been charged with or convicted of an offence. Our vision is to provide a culturally focused, therapeutic, and restorative environment where rangatahi can reconnect with their whānau, hapū, iwi, and culture — and build the skills to thrive. We focus on positive change through education, vocational training, and therapeutic and cultural programmes grounded in Te Ao Māori.
