Data Center IT Technician – Data Centre Operations – Auckland City, NZ (Full‑time, on site). Supports the AWS cloud by installing and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, working closely with engineering and logistics teams to maintain daily operations. Key Job Responsibilities Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs. Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage, and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts. Remediate or recover physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events. Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off, including night shifts on a rotational basis). Lift and rack equipment using lifting equipment; ability to lift heavy loads. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience. 2+ years of computer networking experience. High school or equivalent diploma. Preferred Qualifications Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure. Industry standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+). 2+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience.
