About the job: We’re on the lookout for an experienced Construction Labourer to join our team of everyday heroes here in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be out on site supporting a range of civil construction activities and helping deliver essential infrastructure for our communities. What you’ll be doing: Operating Class 2 vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to site Supporting the crew with general civil construction and labouring tasks Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of infrastructure across Christchurch Operating small plant, tools and equipment (we’ll provide training where needed) Maintaining a strong focus on quality, compliance, and health & safety What you’ll bring: Previous experience in civil construction, labouring, or water services A strong work ethic , reliability, and a team-first attitude Good level of fitness and a genuine commitment to health & safety Full Class 1 and Class 2 licences with confidence operating tippers or similar vehicles A positive, proactive mindset and willingness to learn As part of our recruitment process, preferred candidates will need to complete pre-employment checks to our satisfaction.
