If you've ever wanted to build something rather than just inherit it, this is your chance. As Practice Manager for our Construction & Infrastructure division, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the team. This isn't just a coordination role - you'll have a voice that matters, and the autonomy to make things happen. What you'll be doing Leading and developing a practice management team Acting as the go‑to for Division Leaders and partners - managing diaries, billing, reporting and everything in between Driving continuous improvement in legal support delivery Building strong relationships across Business Services and the wider firm Playing a pivotal role in championing the culture and cohesion of the division, and keeping the day‑to‑day rhythm humming The ideal person You know the legal world inside out. You've been the person partners rely on, the one who keeps things moving when the pressure is on. Now you're ready for more - more responsibility, more influence, and a role where your leadership skills can genuinely shine. This is that role. And it's a blank canvas. What you'll bring At least 6 years' PA or legal secretarial experience, with exposure to senior stakeholders Ideally 3+ years in a legal environment - you understand the pace and the expectations Strong financial acumen and experience with complex financial systems (billing, matter opening and tracking, estimate reports, etc.) is essential. Experience with Elite 3E is a bonus.
