Job Description We’re looking for an experienced and driven leader to join us as Team Lead – Land Information Memorandum (LIMs). This role has real impact in providing leadership and accountability for the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant LIMs and Property Files in accordance with legislative requirements. You will be key in supporting Council’s statutory disclosure obligations and ensuring customers, stakeholders, and the wider community receive a high‑quality, reliable service that enables informed property decisions. About the role As Team Lead, you'll take ownership of Council's LIMs and Property Files service, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant release of property information while managing risk, quality standards, and statutory obligations. You’ll lead the team day‑to‑day while also stepping back to oversee workflow, quality, and risk. You’ll be the point of escalation for complex or high‑risk matters, provide technical direction, and ensure the service is operating consistently and in line with legislative requirements. You’ll also play a key role in improving how we deliver LIMs and manage property information, lifting capability, strengthening processes, and working across Council to get better outcomes. What you’ll do Lead and develop the team Lead team of LIM Officers, setting clear expectations and accountability for delivery Drive and manage performance, including workload, quality, and timeliness Build capability through coaching, feedback, and development planning Be the inspiration for a high‑performing, disciplined team. Provide clear direction and support through change in a constantly evolving regulatory environment. Own the end‑to‑end delivery of LIM reports and property file information Ensure statutory timeframes and service standards are consistently met Act as the decision‑maker for complex or high‑risk LIMs and information requests Ensure consistency, reliability, and professional standards across all outputs Manage quality, risk and compliance Take ownership of legislative compliance and disclosure obligations (including LGOIMA) Maintain and enforce quality assurance controls across LIMs and property files Identify, manage, and escalate service and disclosure risks Make decisions that balance customer needs, compliance, and organisational risk Property file management and disclosure Own the integrity and release of property file information Ensure information is complete, accurate, and disclosed appropriately Provide technical direction on complex property information issues Identify and address gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in property records Maintain strong working relationships with internal contributors Hold teams to account for timely and accurate provision of information Lead resolution of complex or escalated customer issues Improve the service Drive continuous improvement across LIMs and property file processes Use performance data to manage outputs and lift service performance This is your chance to step into a leadership role that genuinely shapes how an essential statutory service is delivered. What we’re looking for A relevant tertiary qualification in information management, regulatory practice, planning, law, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and learning. 7+ years customer service, at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams in a regulatory, or statutory information environment. Strong understanding of legislative and disclosure obligations relevant to LIMs and Property Files, including LGOIMA. Experience managing workflow, quality, and operational risk in a high‑volume or high‑risk service. Experience using performance data and reporting to inform decision‑making and service improvement. Qualities and attributes: Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and capability development. Confidence to make decisions, manage escalation, and take ownership of operational issues and risk. High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and customer outcomes. Ability to build effective working relationships across teams and organisational boundaries. A continuous improvement mindset, balanced with practical operational leadership.
