Manage key accounts and drive new opportunities Technical, solution-focused sales in a B2B environment Autonomous role with supportive team An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Sales Representative / Technical Solutions Specialist to join a well-established and growing industrial equipment supplier servicing commercial and industrial clients across the lower South Island. This is a field-based role focused on owning and growing a defined territory, managing key customer relationships, and driving new business opportunities. With a strong base of existing clients, the role is built on repeat, relationship-driven trade — ideal for someone who values long-term partnerships and solution selling over transactional sales. Working autonomously while supported by a collaborative internal team, you will play a key role in driving revenue, margin, and overall territory performance. The Role You will take full ownership of a lower South Island territory, managing both existing accounts and new business development opportunities. Key responsibilities include: Managing and growing a well-established portfolio of clients Building long-term, value-driven relationships across multiple industries Identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities Conducting regular face-to-face customer visits and site engagement (including travel) Delivering technical product solutions through structured presentations and discussions Preparing pricing, quotes, and service proposals Driving quote follow-up and conversion to secure sales Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery Maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts, and reporting Monitoring market activity and identifying growth opportunities Achieving sales and margin targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction About You You are commercially minded, proactive, and relationship-focused, with the ability to manage a large geographic territory. You enjoy autonomy, take ownership of your results, and are confident engaging in technical sales conversations.
