Responsibilities Work closely with the Client Accounting & Taxation team on day‑to‑day administration and tax compliance requirements, including liaising with branch staff, clients, IRD and other external parties regarding administrative and taxation matters. Maintain tax management, workflow, CRM and other business systems to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Provide administrative support and assistance to Client Accountants and the wider team as required. Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare client invoices and produce month‑end reporting. Arrange taxation payments and receipting tax refunds as required. Monitor workflow queues and ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes. Maintain accurate client records and ensure data integrity across multiple systems. Coordinate and follow up outstanding information requests from clients and stakeholders. Assist with the preparation and processing of tax‑related documentation and correspondence. Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and team efficiencies. Support the team in meeting key compliance obligations and deadlines. Contribute to team objectives and assist with additional administrative tasks as required. Qualifications Previous administration experience, preferably within a professional services, accounting, legal, financial services or similar environment. Confidence working with data and maintaining accurate records across multiple systems. Proven ability to work effectively in a deadline‑driven environment. Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications. Experience using CRM, workflow, or practice management systems is advantageous. Exposure to accounting software such as Xero is preferred but not essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy. Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to work. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to identify and implement process improvements.
