Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Industrial Maintenance Electrician – Invercargill Site Based Role: Ballance Agri‑Nutritions Pay: $90,000 – $110,000 per annum, plus life & medical insurance annually. Minimum 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Ensure the sound operation of the manufacturing line’s electrical assets, troubleshoot and problem‑solve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime, apply precision maintenance tactics to maintain fixed plant assets & equipment through planned preventive & corrective maintenance, work with reliability, production & national support teams to eliminate defects, drive availability improvements & extend asset life cycles, apply root cause methodology, and use modern maintenance management systems. Requirements Registered with current NZ Electricians Practising License. Experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing site. Ability to work unsupervised under pressure, e.g., on equipment breakdowns. Applying precision maintenance tactics to maintain fixed plant assets & equipment through planned preventative & corrective maintenance. Working with site Reliability, Production & National Support teams to eliminate defects, drive availability improvements & extend asset lifecycles. Structured technical problem‑solving abilities using root cause methodology. Knowledge of working with modern maintenance management systems. A positive, collaborative attitude that embraces challenges with confidence. A respect for Health & Safety including excellent personal safety standards. Clear professional communications in a loud environment. Current NZ Work Visa/Residency/Citizenship.
