Consultant Psychiatrist - Adult Community (New Zealand - Wellington Region) Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley – Porirua, North Island Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora – Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District Come and join our Adult Mental Health teams within our community! We have vacancies in full-time or part-time, permanent or fixed-term employment. The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) serves the lower North Island of New Zealand – Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast, and includes local, regional, and national services. Our adult community mental health services support people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties from the ages of 18–65. We offer a mix of rural and urban services. Each service has its own unique characteristics, driven by the community it is based in and the clients it supports. We work in multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists, and provide consistently high standards of care to adult patients. About you You will be vocally registered in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or hold equivalent qualification and be able to qualify for registration with MCNZ. You will be able to work comfortably and flexibly within a team environment.
