Job Description

15th June, We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex data centre, mission‑critical, hyperscale, or highly serviced construction projects. This role offers the chance to lead large‑scale developments from pre‑construction through to commissioning and handover, working with a respected national contractor delivering some of NewZealand’s most technically challenging projects. This position may suit experienced professionals currently based in NewZealand or overseas who are looking to relocate and bring their specialist data centre expertise to a growing market. Key Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of large‑scale data centre construction projects. Manage project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client stakeholders. Oversee programme, cost, risk, procurement, quality, and commercial performance. Drive project planning, construction methodology, and commissioning activities. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate complex MEP services, critical infrastructure, and specialist trades. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners. Requirements Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager on data centre projects. Strong understanding of mission‑critical environments, commissioning, and staged handovers. Experience managing large‑scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. Strong contractual and commercial acumen. Relevant construction, engineering, or project management qualifications.
