The Location Our Pukeuri Plant is located just north of Oamaru on the edge of the East Coast, and only an hour south you'll find Dunedin. With Oamaru close by, there are social sports, clubs and schools offering a great opportunity to get involved and support the plant culture. A true Ocean to Alps lifestyle awaits. The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our compliance team on the Nightshift. This role will: Contribute to quality assurance, food safety, and compliance excellence Be involved in internal audits, verification activities, and continuous improvement Gain hands‑on experience across laboratory operations and testing procedures Work closely with management and cross‑functional teams Support compliance with MPI, customer, and international standards Play a role in maintaining high standards of health, safety, and product integrity Reporting to the Technical Compliance Manager, the key responsibilities will involve: Conducting internal audits and verification activities to ensure compliance with documented systems Supporting the laboratory programme, including sampling, testing, and reporting Assisting in maintaining and improving quality systems and procedures Ensuring adherence to regulatory, customer, and company requirements Contributing to data accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency About You We are looking for someone who has: A qualification or experience in a food‑related or laboratory environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Benefits Competitive Salary Health insurance subsidies for you and your family 1 week extra Annual Leave Ongoing Support, Training and Development on and off site (e.g apprenticeships, NZQA qualifications) Modern facilities on plant Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Access to onsite nurse and physiotherapist Is This Role For You?
