About the team and the role Our Corporate partner, Mei Fern Johnson, a market leader in the Corporate and Commercial fields, is looking for a corporate lawyer, interested in a broad Corporate and Commercial practice, ranging from M&A, complex commercial contracting (including technology contracting), governance and corporate advisory, to join her team in Wellington or Auckland. The team acts for significant entities across the public and private sector. In this role, you would be involved in general corporate and commercial advisory work, commercial contract drafting and procurement, across the energy, infrastructure, technology and social investment sectors, to name a few. The team pride themselves on their solution‑orientation, responsiveness and creativity to achieve client outcomes. They support and push each other to keep learning, developing and providing top quality advice. We’re looking for a team player who will thrive in that environment and who is as excited about the work we do as we are!
