Azure Integrations Team Lead

We're partnering with a growing software and technology business seeking an experienced Azure Integrations Team Lead to lead a small team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise integrations across New Zealand and Australia. This is a hands on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring engineers while remaining actively involved in Azure integration technologies, SQL development, automation, and platform reliability. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of the integration platform, driving technical standards, improving operational processes, and supporting critical business systems across a modern Microsoft ecosystem. The Role As the Azure Integrations Team Lead, you will: Lead, mentor and develop a team of Integration Engineers Provide technical leadership across Azure integration platforms and services Design, build and support Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps and API integrations Develop and maintain integration solutions using ARM Templates, JSON, YAML and Azure technologies Drive automation and continuous improvement across integration processes Support and optimise Microsoft SQL Server environments, including database deployments, backups and troubleshooting Work closely with development, infrastructure and business teams to deliver integration projects Oversee Azure DevOps pipelines, source control and deployment processes Act as the senior technical escalation point for integration and platform related issues Improve documentation, monitoring, governance and operational standards What We're Looking For Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services Hands on experience with Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps and API integrations Experience working with ARM Templates, JSON, YAML and Azure DevOps Strong Microsoft SQL Server administration and database experienceExperience with REST APIs, web services and integration architecture Experience using Git and CI/CD deployment pipelines Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Azure CLI or similar Previous experience mentoring engineers or leading technical teams Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI or webhook integrations Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics, ERP or enterprise application integrations Knowledge of cloud security, authentication and identity services Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ 104 or AZ 305 What's On Offer Up to NZ$130,000 NZD plus benefits Hybrid working environment Opportunity to lead a growing Azure Integration team Strong balance of technical leadership and hands on engineering Long term career progression within a collaborative technology business Opportunity to influence architecture, engineering standards and platform strategy If you're an experienced Azure Integration Engineer looking to step into leadership, or an existing Team Lead looking for your next challenge, we'd like to hear from you.
