Our client is a highly regarded project management consultancy with a strong reputation for successfully delivering complex building, infrastructure and development projects throughout New Zealand. Due to continued growth and a significant project workload in Southland, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager and intermediate Project Manager to join their Invercargill team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a New Zealand graduate from an Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or Architecture background who wants to develop a long-term career in project management. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of project delivery while contributing to the regions most significant construction projects. About the Role You’ll support project delivery from planning and design through to construction and completion. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants and contractors while developing the technical, commercial and leadership skills required to become a successful Project Manager. Responsibilities include: Assisting project planning and programme development Monitoring project risks, budgets and timelines Assisting with contract administration and project reporting Attending site meetings and overseeing construction activities Building strong relationships with clients andstakeholders We are looking for A degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related discipline 2-5 years’ experience within the New Zealand construction industry Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proven team player A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership Ableto be based living and workinglocally Why Apply?
