You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights into the civil engineering field. Our projects range from large-scale initiatives to smaller, detailed works, providing you with a broad spectrum of learning opportunities. How you’ll make a difference Assist in Project Development: Support projects at different stages, from initial concept design to construction and operation. Contribute to Design and Management: Help with design tasks, project management, and engage with stakeholders to ensure project success. Innovative Solutions: Work with the team to develop creative and sustainable solutions for diverse engineering challenges. Collaborate with Teams: Participate in multidisciplinary teams to help deliver and maintain major roadway infrastructure projects. Summer Intern Attributes Interns must be curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. They should bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity. Bachelor’s Degree: Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering. Commencement: Able to work full time hours from 16 November 2026 – 19 February 2027. Working Rights: Must have full working rights to work in New Zealand before applying.
