About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for Sterile Services Technician to join us on a permanent basis as part of the new Dunedin Outpatient Building opening. You will become part of an experienced, high quality driven, supportive team who are all trained in this specialised profession. This role is like no other, it is both physically and mentally demanding, you're required to complete complex tasks that require high levels of concentration, undertake manual, dexterous work, and operate a broad range of equipment. You will be required to work rotating, rostered shifts including weekends and evenings. About you Our ideal applicant will have either aCertificate in Sterilising Technology or equivalent, plus work-related health experience. However, on the job training is provided and you must be willing to enrol and attain the Certificate in Sterilising Technology ina prescribed timeframe (2 years from appointment). This isn't just ‘a job'. This is a role where the very small things that you do, matter greatly. Key criteria Being methodical and remaining calm under pressure. Ability to follow written instructions closely. A team player with excellent communication skills.
