Job Description
Join a well‑known Kiwi organisation to coordinate emergency readiness, manage post‑event actions, drive cross‑team workflows, and ensure continuous improvement. About the Role Based in Newmarket. Full‑time, Monday to Friday. $40‑$50+ per hour + 8% holiday pay (depending on experience). This role focuses on ensuring the business is ready for major events, coordinating improvements and processes across the business to meet key targets in emergency management and risk. You will manage processes following emergency events, follow up with teams to gather information, and help shape improved procedures for future responses. You’ll coordinate across all functional areas to ensure end‑to‑end readiness for major events, monitor readiness indicators, and enable stakeholders to deliver on agreed actions. Day to Day Coordinate workflows with a range of stakeholders. Navigate complex, cross‑business response processes with many moving parts. Ensure post‑emergency learnings are captured and acted on. Act as key support for the GM, anticipating needs and enabling success across board meetings and wider priorities. Attend meetings with the GM and team members to take notes, align deliverables, understand context, record actions, and ensure outcomes are coordinated. About You You are a self‑starter who thrives under pressure and builds strong relationships across the business. You’re comfortable immersing yourself in the challenges of each team, understanding their priorities, and working alongside them to help drive actions forward. You Will Bring Expertise in coordinating workflows, managing projects, and driving improvement programmes across multiple teams. Experience in a large organisation or a highly regulated environment working with governing bodies. Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to promote action while remaining respectful. A proactive mindset with the ability to see the big picture and anticipate next steps. Extremely organised, tech savvy and able to problem‑solve quickly. Exposure to risk management, emergency management, or resilience practices (beneficial but not essential).
