Community Development Officer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Community Development Officer to assist the Community Services Department with community focused projects. This role is a new permanent full-time position where you will provide support for community-based work and projects. In this role, you will: Progress the Community Plan implementation work and lead the review process by liaising with community boards and groups. Process requisition orders, correspondence and follow ups. Ensure greater resilience and continuity of service by providing back up support to the Team Leader during absences and peak workloads. Provide wider administrative support for the team. We are looking for someone who: Communicates clearly and enjoys working with a variety of people. Enjoys working as a team and can build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
