About the Role The newly opened Truckstops Tauranga branch offers a modern facility with dedicated COF lane, fully equipped service pits, and repair bays to support efficient, high‑quality maintenance for truck customers. Reporting to the Service Foreman, you will diagnose and repair mechanical issues, conduct routine maintenance and inspections, and help keep our fleet operating at peak performance. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using cutting‑edge diagnostic tools. Conduct routine maintenance, service, and inspections to keep trucks performing at their best. Collaborate with experienced professionals and mentor apprentices. Adopt LEAN principles, champion Health & Safety, and uphold our Values. Continuously grow your own skills. Qualifications Hands‑on experience with heavy‑duty trucks. Strong commitment to safety and a proactive mindset. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Ideally a Class5 licence (we can help you obtain it). NZQA Level4 in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment Reliability (or equivalent). Willingness to commit to the team.
